The John Dewey Academy has been designed for those families who can appreciate and afford the intensive, individualized instruction we provide. The fifty-two week cost is $81,000 for 2007-08, payable in quarterly installments. The breakdown is:
Though we are essentially an educational institution (i.e., not a residential treatment center), some insurance companies will reimburse parents for part of the therapy cost. Individual school districts in Connecticut, Indiana, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Vermont have reimbursed parents for part or all of the cost of tuition. In cases of need, we may be able to reduce tuition through work-study. Part or all of the cost may be tax-deductible. Given the ever-changing IRS regulations, we suggest you discuss this with your accountant. |
